The Biggest Challenge of Kerala – the Fastest Breeding Talibanization
Prof. C.I. Issac
[First P. A. Ramakrishnan Memorial Lecture on 8th March 2009 – Chennai]
Ladies and gentlemen,
Namaskaram.
In 1956 the State of Kerala came into being. Then the Hindus had a population share of 61.5%. In half a century it swiftly and regularly declined and now it reached at the bare level of 55%. In the mean time two other minority religions, in contrary to general trend of population growth, had grown drastically. This process of the negative growth of Hindu population is a still continuing phenomenon. This numerical decline caused to the Hindu community cannot be treated as an inadvertent phenomenon. Several factors can be seen behind this fall. Of them one can see political, religious, economic, etc. like reasons. Christians are taking advantage of the existing political situations, through their stratagem of the ‘mission of education and open-ended proselytism’ that marginalized the Hindus economically and numerically. On the other hand the Muslims are spreading their nets of annihilation of the Hindu life in Kerala through ‘petro-dollar, hawala money, aggressive proselytism and Talibanization’ of the state. All their efforts are legitimized through the support of the self styled ‘cultural-cum-intellectual magnets’ who are functioning as the tails of CPI (M) [Marxist Party]. They are patronizing all fundamentalist-cum-extremist activities in the state under the guise of human rights. Let me quote an example. One Malayalee, Javed [before his conversion to Islam he was a Hindu Nair named Pranesh], a member of Lashkar-e-Taiba team of four who were masterminded the ploy for the assassination of Gujarat Chief Minister, was killed in police encounter on 15th November 2004 at Ahmadabad. These cultural magnets tried to portray this incident as a fake encounter and exalted Javed as a fallen hero. But the recent shoot down of Malayalee Muslim terrorists by the security forces from the boarders of Kashmir tends them to withdraw to burrows.
The history of Talibanization of Kerala goes back to the days of Mopla Riots of 1921. But the left historians and the coalition politics of Kerala together deliberately concealed its bigoted and fanatic disposition and popularized the incident in the academic circles as agrarian rebellion. More over the state conference of the CPI [M] held during 2005 February at Malappuram officially declared the stained Muslim fanatic Wariamkunnathu Kunjahammed Haji, the leader of the notorious Mopla Revolt, who killed thousands of Hindus including innocent women and children in cold blood during 1921 Kilafat agitation of Malabar, as the martyr of the Communist Party. Even Muslim League is reluctant to make this bigot as their Badar.
The unquenched blood thirst of Islamic fundamentalism made an octopus tightening of the social, economic and political scenario of Kerala unabatedly in the post-independence period. It is interesting to verify the pages of history to see how far Muslim bigots appeased by the Communist Party. In 1946 one Muslim named Unnian Saheb1 and his family of Perinthalmanna [in Malappuram district] in Malabar returned to their poorva dharma2 brutally exterminated Ramasimhan [Unnian Saheb] and his family as an admonition to all who wish to return to poorva dharma. Then all political parties and particularly the Communist Party in vanguard position, under its self-styled revolutionary leader Mr. EMS Namboothirippadu, attempted to misdirect the police investigation and save the dogmatic face of Islam from the purview of law of the land3. Thereafter they [political parties of Kerala] are continuing the same minority appeasement policy without much difference. [Hinduism]. The Muslim bigots got agitated and a mad mob of Moplas
Due to the anti-Hindu approach of the communists, a sizable number of Hindus deserted from their party fold during the sixties of the last century. Thus the Communist Party opts for an open policy of minority appeasement. The immediate result was the birth of an exclusive Muslim district, Malappuram in 1968. It was the beginning of a new episode, i.e., the appeasement of minority. Exactly the layout of this district is similar to the Muslim League demanded Mopilastan of 1946. Then all the corners of national life have warned the inherent danger of carving out a Muslim exclusive district in Kerala. Now this district is the hatchery of all anti-national and terrorist activities in Kerala.
Now the state government had acquired 24 acres of land for the Aligarh Muslim University Centre at Malappuram district. The government had decided that at a later stage the area of land for the proposed centre will be 1000 acres. It is learned from the reliable source that this proposed land will comprise of the Elemkulam Mana, the house hold of the veteran Marxist leader and first Communist Chief Minister EMS Namboothirippadu. It is the short cut of the CPI [M] to secure the benevolence of the anti-national Muslim sect under the command of Jama-et-e-islami in the coming general election. The Calicut University and its campus are functioning in this district. This attempt to open a centre of Aligarh MuslimUniversity is not logically withstanding so far as the Calicut University is functioning here. The purpose of starting this centre is no doubt to monitor the communal divide and Talibanization of the South India through Kerala. The CPI [M] and the Congress beatified this move without realizing the future repercussions of such a centre of Aligarh University. One cannot ignore the fact that this University since its very inception to this day is functioning as the breeding centre of communalism and fanaticism along with anti-nationalist and pro pro-darul Islam activities. Now Kerala is a haven for the Muslim terrorists operations. Its 580 km unchecked coastline is the major attraction of all terrorist outfits. Thus the purpose of the new move is, no doubt, the extension of Aligarh model Talibanism in South India.
