After carrying out thousands of bombings all over India for two decades, the Pak sponsored jihadis staged a macabre massacre of nearly 180 innocents in Mumbai on November 26-27 2008, thereby heralding a new phase of jihad against India. The barbaric carnage of innocent Mumbaikars has to be read in the context of the July 2008 e-mail of Indian Mujahideen commanding Hindus to convert to Islam for avoiding their “blood from being spilled on the streets of your own cities”. The global infamy of a small group of ten marine commandos, trained by the ISI and Pakistani army, holding the corporate capital of India to ransom will be difficult to live down for several decades. While Mumbai bled the jihadi groups across the border and in Pak-Occupied Kashmir celebrated the ghastly killings as a grand victory of  Islam over kaffirs. During last five years thousands of innocent citizens and security personnel have paid  with their lives due to monumental decline in governance which invited repetitive jihadi attacks.  On top of it, the gullible Indian masses were fed on the Goebblesian lie that there were no followers of Al Qaeda in India and that there were no home-grown jihadi terrorists either. 

India Under Attack - Mumbai 26/11

Taking advantage of the soft-on-terror policies of Indian government, the ISI of Pakistan worked overtime to recruit thousands of spies and fifth columnists for setting up hundreds of subversive cells across the country with the help of SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India) for successfully wiring communally sensitive States like U.P., Bihar, Maharashtra, Kerala, Assam and Karnataka. Not many people know that one of the key Jaish-e-Mohammed jihadis involved in the dastardly attack on the make-shift Ramjanambhoomi temple, Maqbool Hussain, was a resident of Dhubri in Assam, and had spent several years studying at Deoband. He had reportedly travelled to Bangladesh and Pakistan on forged travel documents to receive training and instructions from his handlers in Pakistan. Yet the charade of “no jihadis among Indian Muslims” was  mouthed by partisan politicians as well as the mainstream media again and again till the notorious outfit, Indian Mujahideen, burst all over the country by staging spectacular bomb blasts in several cities.

During last eight years the membership of  SIMI, the mother of Indian Mujahideen, swelled enormously, rising from an estimated twenty thousands in 2001 to nearly forty thousands in recent years. The incompetence of the Indian State  had received serious flak in the United States Country Report, released in the last week of April, 2006, which recorded that “India’s counter terrorism efforts are hampered by its outdated and overburdened law enforcement and legal systems”.
