In a shocking revelation it has come to light that organized rackets are operating to wage Jihad through ‘love'. What is now known as "Love Jihad" shows the ugly face of the ‘Jihad' which some apologists of Islam try to portray as something personal and self purifying. The modus operandi of such Jihad is to trap non-Muslim girls feigning love and then convert them to Islam by forcing them to accept their fate. So far 4,500 girls are reported to have been converted to Islam in Kerala and its coastal belt. The girls after being trapped following their elopement with the feigning lovers are left with no choice but to convert. The project under the name of "Love Jihad" represented well oiled machinery, organized and financed adequately under a well structured support system. The motivating factor behind the project is not only call for religious duty but also financial incentives measuring up to a bonanza to the Muslim youths trapping the non-Muslim girls. The rackets to corner non-Muslim women described as "Love Bombs" are reportedly financed and organized by terror outfits outside India through their sleeping cells in India. Recently Kerala High Court has issued directives to state and central governments to investigate the matter and unearth the sources of funding. So far it has been reported that the activities under "Love Jihad" is carried out under the supervision of expert jihadis in the field who train the Muslim youths how to trap the non-Muslim girls and finance each mission for the expenditures incurred in purchasing trendy clothes, bikes, mobile phones, sightseeing trips and methods of various kinds to lure the target. The targets are also selected through a process of information gathering and well researched team work.

"Love Jihad" might be a new phenomenon so far modus operandi through well structured organization and funding are concerned but it has been always in action albeit in different forms. It has been one of the main pillars of demographic warfare waged in the name of Islam and Jihad. It has been a mean to not only grab non-Muslim girls to use them for demographic expansions but to also inflict humiliation on the accursed non-Muslim community. In Bangladesh and in Muslim-majority areas inside India, this often takes the form of simply kidnapping girls, or of threatening their families to marry them out to Muslims. The Hindus fleeing Pakistan recently had the same tale of woes to recount. In normal circumstances it takes the form of normal courtship with the limitation that in case of a Muslim girl befriending a non-Muslim, family pressure is used on her or physical threats on him or on both to stop the affair; since the same is much less likely to happen in the reverse case, the net result is a considerable traffic of non-Muslim girls into Muslim households. A case in instance is the recent killing of Jammu-based businessman Rajneesh Sharma who dared to marry a Srinagar Muslim girl.

The strategy to wage demographic war through "Love Jihad" is not only inhuman but also ignoble and condemnable in severest possible terms. It is strange that the mainstream media has so far maintained studied silence although the unquestionable facts are out in the open. It seems that the girls lured by feigning lovers and then trapped to convert have no human rights and individual dignity in the eyes of so called human right organizations and ‘secularist' media.
