Hindu Smruti Divas Held in India

VOIF Correspondent
Hindu Smruti Divas was held on 14 August in Speaker Hall, Constitution Club, New Delhi, India on 14 August 2011. It was organsied by Virat Hindu Sabha with a large number of students and youths attending the event. It is the second year which witnessed a colossal support from the Youth of India to take the torch ahead with a great commitment and vision towards an assertive notion of Hinduism. As the country is in the clutches of appeasements, sycophancy and pseudo-secularism, it's high time that Hindus re-emphasize themselves with the glorious past.  The programme started with the address by Shri R.K.Ohri who also chaired the event. Shri R.K.Ohri, a  former IG of Police who has authored two books,  urged the youth of this nation to not let down the sacrifices of our ancestors who laid their lives in saving the honour of our value system. Particularly he explained how India is being encircled by the Jihadi forces to move India towards another partition. Our young generation needs to be proactive to tackle that

Our young generation needs to be proactive to tackle that.

Swami Vigyananadji Maharaj, Joint General Secretary, Vishwa Hindu Parishad enlightened the audience with some horrible partition images, which were kept aside till now. It was no less than genocide of Hindus and Sikhs by Muslims during the Partition riots. He emphasized that though we need to move ahead, but we shall not forget this gruesome past. If Israel can re-trigger itself into the strong civilization even after being on the verge of extinction, we Hindus are in much better condition. We need to be aware of past based on which our proactive approach should be developed.

Shri Atul Bhai Kothari, National Co-Convenor of Shiksha Bachao Andolan, emphasized the need of sharp-awareness towards eradicating the propagandist inclusion of mythical facts in maligning Hinduism and its values in our education system. He showed and explained his effort towards this movement and people came to know that even NCERT history books are filled with Hindu-maligning cooked stories. Through his awareness program against this evil he filed several petitions in court and rectified the factual blunders.

Dr. Indubala, Founder President, International Astrologer's Federation, emphasized on the science of astrological importance. According to her astrology doesn't mean road-side parrot reading, but it's a serious calculation, keeping in view the minutest of star positions. The western world has left no stone unturned in proving our well studied and scripted history as mythology. She concluded that what is most important is to carry our ancient value system, our ancient scriptures and believe in its power. It will re-store our lost glory.
