Dr. Radhasyam Brahmachari

Dr Radhasyam Brahmachari, M. Tech, Ph.D.,  is a scholar of science, who studied at Vidyasagar College, Calcutta, Rama Krishna Mission Residential College, Narandrapur and the University of Calcutta, with unique academic achievement in his credit. He is now serving the Department of Applied Physics, University of Calcutta, as a Professor.

Despite being a man of science, he is equally conversant in literary, historical and spiritual spheres, including Vedic philosophy, philosophies other Indian schools and the Western philosophy. At present, he is widely acclaimed as an outstanding authority in comparative studies of religions. He is also a well-known author of a large number of highly thoughtful books that are being appreciated by thinking men and women both in India and abroad. He is also a renowned columnist and his masterly writings frequently appear both in Bengali and English print media.

The author is not a member of any organization, political party, or religious order. He does not wish to be one because he does not wish to be tied down by organizational compulsions. He is a writer, not an activist, and would want to remain that way. He does not wish to attend any public meeting of any kind. He has no political aspiration of any kind whatsoever. Any error of factual nature in his works is not intentional and will stand to correction.

 With a university degree and three professional qualifications from BhaaratVarsh and Canada, he has had the opportunity of managing a very wide range of functions pertaining to many disciplines at sufficiently senior levels in corporate sector in several countries. He also had an opportunity to work in direct contact with people belonging to twenty different nationalities during this period and getting to know those people reasonably enough. After working for quarter of a century he has now retired to seclusion.
